SANTA FE, N.M., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- With the American soprano, Sheri Greenawald in the title role, "Countess Maritza," Emmerich Kalman's light hearted operetta about love, intrigue and deception opens the 1999 Santa Fe Opera season, Friday, July 2. Santa Fe Opera founder and general director John Crosby conducts.
