Do you recall Redux, the potential miracle weight loss drug discussed in our April Newsletter Well, even if you don't, its manufacturer has. Recalled it, that is.
Once again, the magic has gone out of a miracle--in this case, a miracle drug. Redux and a similar weight loss drug Pondimin (fenfluramine chloride, which is often used with the drug phentermine to create a combination called fen-phen) have been taken off the market by Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories.
