RAPID CITY, S.D., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Franklin D. Raines, Chairman and CEO of Fannie Mae (NYSE: FNM), the nation's largest source of financing for home mortgages, today announced the company has pledged over $3 million to assist members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe living on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Raines also committed resources and announced new efforts to aid families living on tribal land throughout the state. The announcement was made in conjunction with President Clinton's "New Markets Initiative" visit to Pine Ridge.
