Jul. 8 -- Telemundo, the Hialeah-based Spanish-language TV network that is fighting to gain viewers against overwhelming domination by Univision, on Wednesday tapped a veteran of English-language television production to be its new chief executive.
James M. McNamara, a former president of Universal Television Enterprises and New World Entertainment, replaces Peter Tortorici, who left to form his own production company.
