LA CROSSE, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 1999--
RUTGERS AG, Germany, Friday announced that it has signed an agreement to purchase the Laminate Systems business of AlliedSignal Inc. (NYSE:ALD).
The agreement positions RUTGERS to expand its global laminates business by combining its Isola subsidiary's European presence with Laminate Systems' strong Asia Pacific presence, and to enhance its North American presence. Closing of the sale is anticipated within the third quarter 1999.
