Sky Latin America, DTH joint venture of News Corporation, Grupo Televisa, TCI International and Globo, is to receive a huge boost to its channel capacity with the launch of PanAmSat's PAS-5 and PAS-6 satellites. ...SKY LATIN AMERICA, the satellite television company, is losing CEO Mark Goldman, who is leaving to "pursue other opportunities." Goldman was promoted to CEO in October 1997. Coincidentally, Sky competitor Galaxy Latin America CEO Jose Antonio Rios resigned earlier this year.
