HOLLAND, Mich.--Mix Head Repair & Brokerage Inc., a repairer of mix heads for the reaction injection molding industry, has acquired Holland-based JVC Machine and its computerized numeric control and manual equipment.
MHR formerly farmed out parts production to JVC and was JVC's primary customer last year, said James Gohlke, MHR co-owner and vice president of sales and operations.
MHR's business plan called for it to make its own parts by 2004, but the company jumped on the chance to start five years ahead of schedule when JVC's owner decided to bow out of the business, Gohlke said.
