Consolidated Container Co. LLC, Dallas, TX, has completed its acquisition of Dallas, TX-based Suiza Foods Corp.'s majority interest in its U.S. Plastic packaging operations (see FOOD INSTITUTE REPORT, May 31, page 7). CSM NV, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, a group of companies that produces sugar, branded consumer products and biochemical ingredients, has acquired St. Louis Bakers' Co-operative Association, Inc. for an undisclosed sum. St. Louis Bakers', a distributor of bakery ingredients in the St. Louis, MO area with annual sales of around $6 million, will become part of CSM subsidiary BakeMark Ingredients.
