Jul. 15 -- Thanks to PopShots, Wall Street is taking fewer pot shots at Polaroid Corp.
PopShots is the Cambridge company's new single-use disposable instant picture camera that reached the mass market in February and is largely responsible for the company's first quarter-to-quarter increase in revenue in three years.
Strong sales of its "Barbie" camera, a dressed-up version of the aging OneStep model, and increased sales of new products in Japan, pushed Polaroid back to profitability for the first time in nine months.
But the strong financial results did not stop a sharp drop in Polaroid's stock ...
