Jul. 21 -- Promoting Western New York as a tourism destination will be an uphill struggle if its cultural and historic sites are "not even on the map" because the state omitted them.
Assemblyman Paul Tokasz, D-Cheektowaga and Sam Hoyt, D-Buffalo, Tuesday criticized the state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation for publishing a brochure that they claim short changes popular attractions in the Buffalo region.
