Jul. 22 -- Detroit-based Little Caesar Enterprises Inc. closed corporate-owned restaurants in the Charlotte region Wednesday as part of a nationwide makeover.
Only five company-owned restaurants will remain in North Carolina for the time being, a Charlotte restaurant manager said. Calls to six Charlotte-area Little Caesars Pizza restaurants resulted in no answer or recorded messages that said the phone number had been disconnected. A company spokesperson confirmed the closings but did not say how many stores were affected.
