Jul. 25 -- TELL CITY, Ky. -- Suddenly, the clock is ticking on the Perry County Solid Waste Management District's plan to establish its own recycling site, with 90 days left to get that facility under way.
However, District Director Karen Stonewall said adequate time remains for the new site to be opened with no effect upon recycling services.
"We can absolutely afford to take this over," she said.
