Jul. 26 -- It's showtime for Warner Bros. TV chief Barry Meyer.
With the search for a successor to Warner Bros. studio co-chiefs Terry Semel and Robert Daly underway, the studio's No. 2, Executive Vice President Meyer, appears poised to snare a top post, Hollywood insiders said.
While Time Warner Chairman Gerald Levin hasn't yet laid out the future structure of Warner Bros., and several other top entertainment forces -- including HBO chief Jeff Bewkes and CBS TV network boss Leslie Moonves -- remain in the running to replace Semel and Daly, entertainment insiders believe Levin will reward Meyer with a senior ...
