OAKLAND, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--July 27, 1999--
Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to transfer its commercial membership in the Charlotte, N.C. area to Principal Health Care of the Carolinas Inc., the Charlotte-based subsidiary of Coventry Health Care Inc.
The sale is expected to close during the fourth quarter, contingent upon approval by regulatory and other customary approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
