Jul. 29 -- NORTH MYRTLE BEACH. S.C. -- Nearly 100 North Myrtle Beach business owners who say they want to better promote their businesses and North Myrtle Beach decided Wednesday to form their own chamber of commerce.
The business owners -- including bankers, lawyers, hoteliers and others -- met at Hoskins Restaurant to discuss plans for the new North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce.
They also established an organizational committee and a finance committee for the new chamber.
