The National Underwriter Company has acquired the assets of 1W Publications, Inc., a Seattle-based publisher, founded in 1937 by Irwin Mesher.
With the acquisition, the National Underwriter Company, based in Cincinnati, adds two magazines and a set of directories to its line of products.
* Claims magazine is the center of information for the claims community, including insurance company claims professionals, independent adjusters and risk managers. In addition, Claims hosts the Annual Claims Exposition and Conference (ACE) that attracts hundreds of attendees every year.
