Seven lively, colorful and amusing marine paintings by Cape Cod artist Ralph Cahoon will go on the block Friday, the first part of Eldred's two-day sale in East Dennis.
The paintings include "Sailor's Wedding;" "Transportation," depicting a race between a locomotive, a horse-drawn carriage, a high-wheeler bicycle and mermaids and sailors; "Jolly Tars of 'Sconset," a still life of a Nantucket basket; "Boston Tea Party," showing a smirking Gen.
