Jul. 31 -- The president and chief financial officer of Super Vision International Inc. resigned Friday, the company said in a prepared statement.
John Stanney was president of the Orlando company since 1997 and CFO since 1994.
No reason for his departure was given in the statement, which was released after the stock markets closed.
Brett Kingstone, who founded the lighting manufacturer in 1991 and is chief executive officer, will take on the additional duties of president, the company said. An interim CFO also was appointed.
No one from the company could be reached for comment.
