Aug. 5 -- Under a deal the attorney general's office says will preserve competition, Zimmer Radio Group of Mid-Missouri is selling three of its Jefferson City stations to Premier Marketing Group.
Premier will acquire news-talk KWOS-AM, oldies station KJMO-FM and an additional FM signal in Jefferson City.
The deal allows Zimmer to purchase KTXY-FM and country station KLIK-AM in Jefferson City and KATI-FM in California from Brill Media Co. Inc. KWOS, a talk radio station located at 1240 on the AM dial, will trade its spot with country station KLIK-AM, now at 950.
