Rapra closes U.S. office
Polymer industry consultancy Rapra Technology Ltd. has closed its U.S. affiliate company Rapra Technology Inc., citing insufficient sales from the Charlotte, N.C.-based office.
``Rapra had hoped for a certain level of income, but this was not forthcoming,'' said Rapra Financial Director Andrew Ward.
Rapra opened the U.S. office just two years ago; three employees are affected by the closing. Rapra will continue to market its services in the U.S. through its Shawbury, England, offices, Ward said.
