The Petroleum Co. of T&T (Petrotrin) has signed an agreement with Cuba which will allow the company to sell US$1.9 million worth of petroleum to Cuba for six months. Apart from this, Foreign Affairs Minister Ralph Maraj said the company will also join forces with Cuba to upgrade Cuba's lone petroleum refinery. Further, Maraj disclosed that four agreements were made between Cuba and T&T when he visited the country recently. These, he said, included accords on investments, combating the illegal drug trade, and two concerning agriculture.
