Aug. 7 -- Duncan Enterprises has acquired one of the nation's leading tie-dye kit companies, giving the Fresno crafts company a foothold in a portion of the fabric paint business it wasn't in before.
"Tie-dye is enjoying a resurgence and is growing every year," said Mark Peters, senior vice president of marketing and new products at Duncan. "The purchase will result in nice little growth for Duncan."
The company that Duncan acquired, Rainbow Rock Inc. of San Diego, is a "market leader" in the tie-dye industry.
