GREENBELT, Md., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Bernard Slosberg has been named regional medical director for Aetna U.S. Healthcare's newly formed Capitol region. The appointment was announced by Dr. Arthur Leibowitz, chief medical officer for Aetna U.S. Healthcare.

In his new role, Dr. Slosberg will be responsible for the implementation of health care policies, patient management programs including disease management, and all quality improvement activities in the Capitol region, which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He will be based in Greenbelt, Md.
