Aug. 16 -- Union Planters Bank will enlist the help of John Connors to operate Kings Point fitness club.
What the bank will pay Connors to run his former club has not yet been decided, Union Planters attorney Ronald Pallmann said.
"It is certainly our intention to keep it in operation," Pallmann said. "There's a lot we need to learn about the operation, and Mr. Connors has been very cooperative with us. He's certainly the person who's the most familiar with the operation of the club. He feels a sense of obligation to the people who use the club, and he would like to see it continue to operate."
