SAS Institute Inc., the world's largest privately held software company, today announced the formation of a computer science scholarship award that will recognize the achievements of Japanese Nobel Prize winner, Leo Esaki.
The SAS Institute Esaki Scholarship will provide future generations of students from Japan the opportunity to study computer science abroad at North Carolina State University, the alma mater of SAS Institute founder and CEO, James H. Goodnight.
