WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Community banks are likely to charge fewer and lower fees according to the Independent Community Bankers of America's analysis of data in the 1999 Federal Reserve's "Annual Report to Congress on Retail Fees and Services of Depository Institutions." Similar to the 1998 report findings, in all fee categories -- from special fees to ATM fees -- large, multi-state banks charge higher fees than smaller banks.
