Aug. 26 -- Politicians enjoy accusing the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey of bias against one state over the other but many people don't believe it, according to a Quinnipiac College poll that also found no sentiment for hikes in tolls or fares, or for New York taking back control of LaGuardia and Kennedy airports.
The survey of 1,800 people in New Jersey and New York City found 43 percent of New Yorkers and 40 percent of New Jerseyans believed each state received equal treatment from the 78-year-old agency.
