The Minerals Management Service (MMS) said Tuesday that U.S. Gulf of Mexico producers reported they shut in 625 MMcfd of natural gas and 5,000 b/d of crude oil over the weekend due to Hurricane Bret.
The figures only represent information that producers volunteered to MMS, an MMS spokeswoman said; producers are not required to report shut-ins to MMS.
