INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Bindley Western Industries, Inc. (NYSE: BDY) announced today that it has completed the previously declared acquisition of Central Pharmacy Services, Inc. ("Central Pharmacy Services or CPSI") in a transaction in which approximately 3.2 million shares of Bindley Western common stock will be issued. The acquisition will be accounted for as a pooling of interests.
Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, CPSI operates centralized nuclear pharmacies that prepare and deliver unit dose radiopharmaceuticals for use in nuclear imaging procedures in hospitals and clinics. Central Pharmacy Services, which had sales of $33 million for the year ...
