PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The local SALINE WATER CONVERSION CORP. is currently gearing-up to build a new water pipeline that is intended to enable supplying Riyadh with water from the Hunay fields. In so doing, the company recently awarded a $97,000,000 contract to the AMIANTIT GROUP OF COMPANIES of Saudi Arabia for the supply of 337 kms of 1,200 mm diameter pipeline.
Likewise a construction contract was awarded to the local AL- RUWAITE TRADING & CONTRACTING ESTABLISHMENT for the installation of the line. The pipeline in question will have an installed transportation capacity of 350,000 cubic meters per day. This project is expected to cost $56,000,000 to ...
