PROJECT OVERVIEW:
As things currently stand, South Africa's Mpumalange mines ships its ores consisting of coal, magnetite and phosphate through the Maputo port in South Africa. As a result, the company's products must travel some 1500 kms to destination. It is thus that the Mozambique government recently decided to substantially enable the reduction of shipping delays by building a new port in Mozambique.
