CLEVELAND, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- National City Corporation (NYSE: NCC) announced today that it is forming a new corporate banking unit to serve the greater Philadelphia area.
Plans call for the new unit to be located at One South Broad and to open Sept. 7. Charles Coltman, III, former vice chairman of Corestates Financial Corp., will head the new unit as chairman.
Initially, the unit will be staffed by Coltman, four other prominent Philadelphia bankers, and existing National City executives who will move to the new office. National City executive vice president Bruce Muddell, currently based in Cleveland, will move to the new unit to serve as its chief ...
