Many business leaders assume they'll be able to get good public relations exposure when they want it. But few know just what that PR should be, how to get it or how to measure the results, say Detroit area PR executives.
``The difference between publicity and public relations, that's a big difference,'' said Peter Shinbach, owner of The Birmingham Group and president of the 550-member Detroit chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
