HAYWARD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1999--
Etec Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:ETEC), a leader in patterning solutions for the worldwide semiconductor industry, today announced that it has hired Frank P. Averdung as managing director in Europe. Averdung will report to Bill Cole, Etec's vice president of sales.
"Mr. Averdung will be a great addition to strengthen our European organization," stated Dr. Leslie Polgar, general manager of the Etec's Semiconductor Products Group.
