FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1999--

Two of the world's largest integrated circuit packaging foundries, one Korean and the other Taiwanese, recently placed substantial equipment orders with Allteq Industries Inc., Fremont, for Allteq's after-wirebond inspection stations.

The equipment will be installed at Advanced Semiconductor Engineering's assembly plants in Penang, Malaysia, and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to handle the added capacity requirements of recent expansions. A similar equipment order will be installed at the Korean assembler's offshore Asian facility.
