NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 3, 1999--

deV&P, Inc., a newly formed women's apparel company headed by Maura de Visscher and Kimberly Perrone, today announced that it has acquired Adrienne Vittadini Enterprises, Inc., a women's clothing brand, and its worldwide trademarks, from Marisa Christina Incorporated (Nasdaq:MRSA).

In connection with the transaction, Grumman Hill Group, a private equity firm, has along with de Visscher and Perrone invested to fund the purchase and provide capital to build the business.

Ms. de Visscher and Ms. Perrone, who formed deV&P in Spring 1999, together have almost 40 years of experience in the fashion industry. ...
