VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 7, 1999--
Viceroy Resource Corporation ("Viceroy") (TSE:VOY.) today announced that it has entered into a phased option agreement with the Alaskan subsidiary of NovaGold Resources Inc. ("NovaGold") to earn up to a 65 percent interest in the Rock Creek Property in Alaska through staged exploration expenditures and completion of a pre-feasibility study.
The Rock Creek Property consists of approximately 50 square kilometres of land located in the historic Nome Mining District. Gold mineralization is hosted in series of sub-parallel shears and quartz vein stockwork zones in meta-sedimentary rocks. ...
