Just this summer, Hillary Rodham Clinton confided that she and the president talk all the time. "We talk. We talk in the solarium, in the bedroom, in the kitchen--it's just constant conversation," she chattered to Talk magazine. In the same piece, author Lucinda Franks elaborated: "The passion for public policy and ideas is clearly the lifeblood of the marriage--cutting up the grapefruit while they talk about day care, interrupting the movies they watch in bed to discuss Columbine."
So forgive weary Clintonologists for imagining this:
She (tossing the salad): How was your day at the office, dear?
