There is no truly free market
References to the free market and globalisation spice virtually every conversation concerning the economy. For Indonesia it is no longer a question of whether or not to follow these trends, but rather a reality to be faced, particularly when one remembers that Indonesia was one of the initiators of the formation of AFTA and a strong supporter of APEC, the two international institutes, whose very existence related to the free market and globalisation. Thus the problem for Indonesia is how to take maximum advantage of the free market and to, as far as possible, avoid the negative impacts.
