Heidelberg is launching in the Spring of 1999 an improved version of its Quickmaster DI 46-4. Called the Quickmaster DI 46-4 plus, its improved features include shorter makeready times, faster RIP and imaging times, faster and enhanced plate cleaning, fully automatic lubrication, and an impression Cylinder Cleaning Device. The Quickmaster has a refined 12-zone ink control and a PearlDry plates. Many of the new features can be added to the earlier version through field upgrades.
