WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 1999--
Parametric Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:PMTC) today announced that Lockheed Martin Launching Systems, an operating unit of Lockheed Martin Government Electronic Systems (GES), has gone live with more than 500 seats of PTC's Windchill software for product and process lifecycle management. Windchill's robust information-sharing environment enables geographically dispersed divisions of GES, its supply chain and customers to create a cohesive design and production operation and function as a virtually co-located enterprise. GES has plans to roll out the Windchill-based IDE to more than 3,000 users by mid-year 2000.
