WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights today released a major report on the impact of ability grouping practices on minority students in the nation's schools. The report is the fourth in a series investigating various educational practices and programs relating to minority and female students. USCCR Chairperson Mary Frances Berry noted that the series "reflects the Commission's long-standing commitment to ensuring that all children in this country are afforded equal educational opportunity."
