Sep. 15 -- Nestled in a wooded area of unincorporated Chatham County is a music publishing company that produces songs that church choirs across the country perform every Sunday.
Hinshaw Music primarily sells contemporary church music aimed at the Protestant faiths, but it also offers some secular selections. The company contracts with composers for the pieces it publishes, which include original music as well as arrangements of classical works.
"One thing I really like is our product brings people joy," said Roberta Van Ness, the company's president.
