COMPanion Corporation, makers of Alexandria library automation for the Mac OS, has announced it will offer Alexandria for Windows, a library automation program for the Windows operating system, beginning this month. Alexandria for Windows lets students take advantage of multimedia and Internet technology.
Alexandria for Windows contains multimedia features that let students search and access video, sound clips, and digitized images. It also offers Internet features that let media specialists catalog Web sites so students can better use the Internet as an information source.
