It's been open season on The Oxford Psychiatric Dictionary since Bob Woodward invented the "Clara Bow Syndrome" to describe Monica Lewinsky, so I will now contribute my own original entry: LEXOPHOBIA, "fear of law."
Lexophobia is not merely a fear of being sued and running up Clintonian legal bills, not simply the normal revulsion brought on by the sight of a lawyer, but a burgeoning psychosis that has America in its grip. Its symptoms are three, the first being a paranoid certainty that every law is a potential dragnet.
