Article: Suffolk University Law School Names New Dean.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1999--

Robert H. Smith, a constitutional law authority and expert on the U.S. Supreme Court, today was chosen to head Suffolk University Law School by vote of the University's Board of Trustees.

Smith has been a professor at Boston College Law School for 24 years. While at BC, he served as acting dean and associate dean for academic affairs. He also directed the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau. Before he began his relationship with Boston College in 1975, Smith served as supervising attorney and clinical fellow at the University of Chicago Law School's Mandel Legal Aid Clinic.
