In an effort to improve service to customers in remote locations, WESCO Distribution has wheeled out a new concept in its logistics strategy: a bin stock replenishment system called WESCO On Wheels, or WOW!.
Development of the WOW! program is the result of WESCO specialists and customers in Portland, Ore., examining methods for improving service to remote locations. The WOW! trucks enable WESCO to take care of customer inventory requirements while dramatically reducing exposure of excessive on-hand stock.
