Mission is everywhere at the Harare assembly!
Mission is missing at the assembly!
I heard both of the above statements at the assembly. They are probably both true. But we have to qualify our terminology.
Of course the missionary activity of God as understood from the missio Dei concept was present in the Harare assembly. Four to five thousand Christians were gathered there yearning to see signs of the Kingdom breaking forth in a multitude of ways - laboring and hoping that one day justice shall reign eternally.
