BALTIMORE - The Cleveland Brownies were horrible again yesterday, just like you'd expect an expansion team to be. And yet, unbelievably, they came within eight points of beating their football ancestors.
What does that say about the Baltimore Ravens? Nothing very good, except that they no longer are winless. For discerning observers in a throng of 68,803 at PSINet Stadium, this should have been a cheerless 17-10 victory - and one not nearly as monumental as its hype.
