Cupric sulfate has been in great demand in the domestic demand these years and the price has also kept rising. The demand is big in fruit tree and timber tree growing areas, as well as dyestuff plants, electroplating plants and feed plants in large and medium cities. Besides, the development of compound trace element fertilizers has also resulted in a great demand. The supply shortage of cupric sulfate has therefore become all the more prominent.
China has more than 60 cupric sulfate producers, but the production is restricted by limited copper resources. The copper-based output falls far short of the increasing demand in the domestic market. An import of around ...
